Let’s talk about how we can grow into that space and be aware of our choices, especially when it comes to love and relationships and especially if you’d like to find the one. Awareness can help us to move in the direction of connection and being more empowered to create our own relationship space without defaulting to a protective mode.
The defaults we have are based on our attachment style, this is what we decided in our first experiences in life about “connection” and relationships. The good news is that we can change this, and in these 30 days you will get to rewire your nervous system to move out of the defaults that stop connection and teach your body to have a secure attachment style. This is what helps us be open to possibilities for love and recognize opportunities when they show up!
If you ever wanted to meet someone “organically” in the world, bump into someone at a coffee shop and fall in love, or have a crush you had in the past call you out of the blue, it starts with this!
So what would be even greater or much more fun than seeing MORE possibilities for LOVE? So if every single one of our choices are either moving us toward or away from that sense of safety, and connection. You are the source of your creation.
What can you begin to choose that includes everything, the concrete choices like I am going to sign up for this photography class or go on a first date with so-n-so to the very subtle, incremental energetic choices that have no words.
What I want to play with today is experiencing those incremental moves that can change our state. So overall, in this 30-day, we are beginning to stretch into more awareness around what is happening in our bodies. What’s happening with our nervous system. So being able to identify what state you are in, is it heavy or light, or stressed or relaxed or something else?
Our nervous system will either be in a relaxed state, stressed state, or state of freezing where you may feel powerless or hopeless.
It is so much more powerful for our overall well being to check in on what’s going on emotionally and physically in the body. Why? Because then we can make a choice to change something! How many times have you found yourself in a state that is stressed or awful and thought this is it, I AM this? I am so stressed out and left it at that. I used to do that all the time and then my whole day was a ball of stress. Now I know I can change this.
Taking a deep breath is a start to connect to the body. Get into your consciousness and power to activate your prefrontal cortex, which is that space of awareness, and assess the situation, and make a choice to do something that can support relaxation and calm in the nervous system. I know when things are really challenging it’s hard to remember but the more you practice the more you will remember. Or you do have the option to stay stressed. I also used to do a lot of “recreational stress” which deep down I am aware of how much I valued that as a strategy to see if anyone care about me enough to rescue me. That’s definitely another topic that would be worth talking about!
In these 30 days, you are going to get data and information on how you function and then you can make a decision about how and if you’d like to change that. Here’s a powerful process that is like a meditation, but it’s called Regenerating Images in Memory (R.I.M.) and works with your subconscious to support change!
So as we arrive here, in our bodies and our beings, taking a breath, noticing that you get to make that choice to take a breath however you want, maybe deep inhale, it may just be allowing your body to do what it wants to do. You get to be that champion of your experience right now. You get to be the leader of your life.
And as you notice what you’re experiencing without judgment without right or wrong, good or bad, just noticing that place that was calling you that was experiencing sort of being stuck. Just let yourself have whatever it is, allow it and receive it. And wherever this is, whatever this is, on the next breath, moving your awareness as if you are arriving in it, you may already be in it.

It may be different than you expected, or it may be exactly what you expected, or it may be something else.
What would be even greater or more fun than this?
And just noticing what you’re aware of what wants to happen here.
So whatever you’re experiencing your imagination will give you the sense of what wants to happen here. You may be moving to a new place. You may be constructing something. You may be changing something or whatever it is that wants to happen. Go ahead and let that happen, know what would be greater or more fun than this. Anything that keeps you from being knowing, perceiving or receiving the magic that is you at this moment that gets to make that incremental step. Turn that molecule towards something greater or more fun. With each breath, begin to notice how your choice may even become like a domino effect of expansion into greater. You’ll start to notice how that little twist, that change, that choice, that decision is rippling into the future. Noticing and being aware of how even your choice is greater and more fun noticing and sensing and perceiving. So as you take this, begin to return back into the space bringing with you this new you. This next-level incrementally differentiates you. Your eyes will open when ready.
This is like, you know you could journal about it, you can share it or not share. But knowing that this is how we can nurture ourselves into greater connection, greater awareness and greater personal power.
